Martin Audio recently launched their new Line Array speakers, The Wavefront Precision Series.
The Wavefront Precision Series is a new generation of multipurpose line arrays designed to bring Martin Audio’s signature sound, coverage consistency and control to a broader range of live events, permanent venue installations and budgets. Wavefront Precision is designed to be uniquely flexible, upgradeable and financially accessible with “a magic, giving more precision to sound control.”
Red Square were tasked with creating an identity for the Wavefront Precision. The brief was to create a logo that had a mark that was immediately identifiable. This had to work with the Martin Audio logo and the other Martin Audio brands.
A mono-tone black and white logo was chosen to mirror both the Martin Audio logo and the colour of the speakers themselves. A strong ‘W’ target motif was chosen to symbolise both the sound waveforms and the element of precision.
The form of the logo was flexible so that the mark could be used on it’s own or with the logotype in either centre stacked, position right or single line centred. Applied on all assets related to the Wavefront Precision range and on the speakers themselves; the logo has been used across all marketing outlets from brochures to exhibition walls and video.
